Lee Mills says:

This video helped inspire me to buy the cobra 75. It turns out to be much more difficult to install than I had expected. It's been a good challenge to say the least. Tapping into the auxilary power seemed sketch for me and my wires are short. I am going for the straight to battery wire as I've read here and elsewhere.

That wasn't very helpful at all

GBODYDAME87 says:

it actually would have been easier also for you to run them straight from the battery through the plugin the firewall instead of having to take half the cars interior Plastics apart for absolutely no reason only to get bad interference and feedback because you didn't wire straight from the battery

GBODYDAME87 says:

you never use any other auxiliary hookup for power you only run power straight from the battery because of interference through the wiring system and the alternator will come in and will distort the CB radio from functioning at itss 100% capability you should of random straight from the battery with a inline fuse as close to the battery as you can get it five or 10 amp

Paul Duenas says:

what did you use to tap into the auxillery power?

Karen Morelli says:

great vid, don't know if i would take that all about. nice job

For anyone considering this install, this is only a good brief overview, in no way a comprehensive install guide, many details are not covered. Make sure you do your research.
