In the future, may I recommend taking the door off and bringing into your shop/garage/patio/etc along with a sofa cushion and a mallet. You put the cushion on the bench, put the door on the cushion, and use the mallet or a block of wood and a small hammer to fix all of the dents in less than an hour, tops. That way you could fix all of the dents, grease the window tracks and mechanism, and clean out the door as well as making a new moisture seal out of plastic sheeting and adhesive to go under the door card.
Yabba dabba doo.

Why fix the door lock problem if your thinking of replacing the whole door anyway?
