Chris Bailey says:

Great video, and thanks for making it. Had no problems, was perfect step by
step. Thanks again!

VintageSilversmith says:

Just did mine. Knocked it off in an hour, thanks to this video! THANK
YOU!!!!

Joaquin Suarez says:

Stupid and retarded Toyota designers, they make everything so hard to
replace and cheap quality.
I owned dozens of cars and replacing speakers or covers is extremely easy
to remove 4 nuts from the trunk and this Camry you have to remove so many
parts and they also melted the plastic of the covers to make it even harder.
Thank you for the video, otherwise will have to pay at least $50 to the
Toyota stealership…

hanhelimax says:

yeah I replaced these too but,,,was pain in the ass…the guy in the video
is very skilled, and it took me about an half day to finish this….really
bad design of the camry

Bailey D says:

Very easy to replace.

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

Don’t know the removal without seeing it. However, in most cases, the foam
surround on the speaker has deteriorated. They can be repaired.

George Barouta says:

I have a 2000 camry xle with distorting jbl speakers in the back. how
easier or harder is their replacement?

Joseph Pugliano says:

Seriously, getting all tools and parts set up, total of 20 minutes to do
the grill replacement. Thanks for the video!

Zarko Smiljanic says:

This is INSANE!!! What prime example of stupid design!!

Cataclysm31 says:

The 1997-2001 range is pretty similar, from what I can tell. There might be
some slight differences but it’s essentially the same job.

KLM817 says:

I replaced these grills in my 04 Camry. It took me about an hour to do from
start to finish. The replacement grills are less than $10 at a Toyota
dealer. They only come in two colors, gray and beige, and most Toyota parts
departments will stock these. The new grills are a better material than the
originals.

Marcos Roman says:

Can you try to do a video on on a 99 camry that would be great

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

Four screws for each speaker, remove and replace.

raekwonyaeyo says:

I has hoping to see the speakers getting replaced

adyyy22 says:

Hey guys, is this process same for 2007 Camry? Thanks!

Mitz Ann says:

OMG. I HAVE TO DISSAMBLE THE ENTIRE GODDAMN CAR JUST TO REPLACE SPEAKER
COVERS??? THIS IS INSANE!!! ARE THERE ANY CAR MANUFACTURERS THAT DON’T MAKE
THEIR CARS INSANELY, RIDICULOUSLY DIFFICULT TO WORK ON???

García Salvador says:

This is good video thank you so much

kevashylus says:

He is such a good teacher

Sigkeeper1 says:

What you have watched was my 2006 Camry speaker grille covers being
replaced. This is a labor-intensive replacement but the parts are
relatively inexpensive. You can do it yourself but it takes time. I found
this shop to be quite helpful. The heat of the Florida sun seems to cause
speaker grille covers to deteriorate and the crumbs from the old grille
covers if not replaced will affect the sound. Six months later the replaced
covers look like new.

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

Video is labeled for 2002-2006. I have don’t know how close it will be for
the 2007.

adyyy22 says:

Ok, thanks. I will figure it out.

Michael Lascuola says:

This is exactly what I needed – well done!

Bo Kristensen says:

Thank you very much. Very helpful!

Bryan says:

I wish you would have shown what it looks like on the top with the covers
off. I’m thinking of just leaving the covers off and drilling through the
back deck and to mount the speakers on top of it all and just just put the
covers that come with the speaker on top of all that. This way if I ever
blow a speaker I don’t have to go trough all this.

deltahho says:

Damn what a nightmare!! I’m not looking forward to putting new speakers in
my car 🙁

David I says:

Thank you for upload this video, showing step by step very good

patrickrfaul says:

What about the speakers??? Your title says Speaker AND Grill cover removal.

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

The video mentions the speaker removal, four bolts hold each speaker in
place once the rear deck removal is complete.

MikeTheITGuy says:

I just pried mine up from the top, pushed the plastic crap through the
holes, and snapped in the new ones. Took me maybe 30 minutes tops. This
seems like serious overkill to me. Having said that, this is a good
demonstration on how to disassemble the back panels in case you need to
replace other components. Inside the right rear pillar you can see the
keyless entry receiver. Some people’s go bad and that’s it right there for
anyone who needs to replace it.

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

Lol, this is a tuff one, there are tuffer, and many easier ones too. I
wonder at times… Who designs this stuff?

Chad Ross says:

Thanks for making this video. Saved me tons of time.
