Im going to try to do this for my Corolla tomorrow. Will keep you update on
how it goes.
It sounds like my dads Mercedes ML 2001 which is a 5 speaker bose system
too ROFLLLL 4 speakers and 1 sub. There is a speaker on each door, and a
subwoofer /amp underneath the drivers seat.
This worked on a 2004 Solara when a mirror required replacemeent. However,
the difference was to access the screw underneath the window control
cluster, you simply just popped out the hard plastic bezel. There was no
screw securing it underneath a removable rubber trim. You pop the bezel out
and the screw that holds the door panel in place is accessible. Hope this
helps.

why the hell do those camrys have 6x9s in the doors? do they want to piss
the front passengers off with the doors constantly vibrating
I think the 5.1 ELS in the 2004 – 2008 Acura TLs is much better than the
Bose system in the early 2000s TLs, and the one in the 09 – present TLs are
even better.
my employee and i went to lunch today. He has a 2001 acura tl with
navigation. It has a 5 speaker bose system. One speaker on every door, one
sub. No tweeters. Even though this system could use more bass like my
maximas and TL, i have to say it sounded VERY impressive with just one
speaker on each door. It sounds better than many systems ive heard that
have tweeters. It even had better highs than my dad’s audi :O
my tl has a lot more bass response from the speakers and sub. But this one
resonates very nice sound. mine doesnt resonate that much. His is bose,
mine is the 5.1 els surround audio

My 2009 Camry door looks very different. Where are the removal screws for
my 2009? There are none at the bottom of the door or where the window
buttons are. Help!!
oh yeah. I was amazed how fast the sound instanly fills up the huge cabin.

Thanks for showing how to remove the panel, but is it simple to get to
where the door lock mechanisms are in a 2002 Camry? I have a faulty door
lock that I need to fix
not yours in this case sorry. The escalade’s sounds more than twice as good
as my friend’s 03 camry, except in the bass department. Every thing else
more than makes up for that. U should take a listen.
4 6x9s though is a good thing for people who don’t want subs though right?
Have not done one for the corolla yet, but I think it is pretty close.

Yea for some reason these Camrys have 6x9s all around. Great for improving
on the sound system.

look at the speaker grilles for that escalade that girl’s dad has. U can
easily fit 6x9s in each of them, but theyre 6.5s. Now that’s a car where
6x9s would benefit the cause, not the camry. Great stereo nontheless, very
loud and full
