Slim “Digitar” Ballast. Never heard of the term “digitar” before. People
realize these Kensuns are not DOT approved? They’re for off-road use.

jimmy nguyen says:

Did you disable the Drl?, I installed the HID kit on my 04 camry (drl
manual) and the 15amp in the fuse box was blow after 30 mins? PLease help

Maroot Nanakul says:

Unfortunately I did not install HID’s in my fog lights. I did however
install HID’s on my Acura MDX Low Beams and Fog Lights. But not on my Camry
fog lights. Only Low Beams. Sorry 🙁

How did you end up deciding to get the Kensun hid versus all the other kits
on ebay. Have you had any issues since, any flickering, one side not
turning on sometimes? What is the color output on the floor and on the
headlight? Thanks.

SacTu says:

You didn’t show us how to hook up the ballasts.. :-/

JMAEspain says:

would be good if u did the entire wiring tute! LOL

Great video!

Thanks for your comment!

Ramiz Borodach says:

You didn’t show how to unlock the door and open it. Damn if someone is
looking for this type of video that means they know how to open the hood.

Larry A says:

did you have any glare issues?

Jose Roman says:

Do you know what size the bulb has to be on a 2007 camry?

Ankit Jadav says:

What’s the durability like? I heard the cheaper HID kits work good in the
beginning but the ballasts go out quick.

tim allen says:

your car probably had 55w halogens the HID most people put on is 35w so you
went down

Maroot Nanakul says:

Sorry for such a late reply, I decided on the Kensun because I installed
the Kensun HID’s on my Acura MDX Low Beams and Fog Lights. They worked
fine on the MDX, so I stuck with Kensun for my Camry too. The color output
was 6000K I believe (same as my Acura MDX HID’s). Funny you should mention
flickering. Yes, I have experienced flickering a couple of times. I haven’t
looked into the cause yet, but it can be quickly resolved by turning the
lights OFF and then ON again. Could be my wiring???

Anthony James says:

Is it true that the Slim style Ballasts don’t require relays?? I’ve never
heard that, but if it’s true then i might start buying HID kits again.

Awesome Asheem says:

Could you also put video of putting HID in fog lights as well?

bacardiconlimon says:

What color temperature would you prefer for the fog lights to compliment
the low lights 6000k? I really dont like the factory colored yellow on the
fog lights.

Maroot Nanakul says:

Funny you should mention that. My original 2011 Toyota Camry XLE low beams
were bright but seemed scattered over a wider area. The HID kit produced a
brighter/whiter light but was more focused and therefore seemed just a bit
dimmer than the factory halogen bulb. But the original high beams (which I
left alone) really puts out alot of light and is aimed highter than the low
beams. I like my HID replacement for the asthetics and more focused beam.
Hope that helps 😉

rhymes116 says:

Can you do a video at night so we can see how the HID looks?

Maroot Nanakul says:

I have had no issues with aiming the headlights after HID install. I use
headlight marks on the wall in my garage to park the correct distance in my
garage (so I can close my garage door) with the original headlights. After
I replaced with HID’s, the marks remained at the same spot. So I assume the
HID’s required no adjustment. I don’t get flashed from oncoming vehicles
that’s another indicator to me that perhaps my headlights need aiming. Hope
that helps.

Dick Cam says:

Call Police to open the door for you. lol

speedkar99 says:

How is the light output with the HID vs stock? Is it much brighter? I
installed an HID kit in my ES330 with H11 low beams and the light output is
very dim, even after switching bulbs.
