Worked on my ’08 Tundra. Thanks!
(oops) jumped the gun on me. As I was trying to say this Aux thing has been so frustrating. Then a couple of days ago it went out completely. I love listening to audio books and I’m in my car 40 hrs a week, this is serious now. I could not believe what an easy fix this was. I’ve never taken the trouble to comment on a post but your post was so helpful. Thanks. Putnee
I’ve had my 2010 corolla for over 2 yrs and it’s been a co
awesome… have a 2010 corolla with the identical issue. Thanks for posting!!
This worked amazingly. I actually prefer always having access to the aux input anyways. Now I can stop almost crashing every time the aux goes out. Thanks!
I dont know how to solder the piece? or know what that even means. its kinda of confusing since i am not tech saavy whatsoever… pls help!
I’m having this issue currently in my 2010 Camry. Where do I get the pieces from? Other than the dealer ship.
Thanks for the tutorial 🙂 Worked perfectly!
thank you for this video I just did this and it works perfect. better than factory
Thank you for making this video. Worked great saved me about $100. Thanks Again
This worked for me too, thanks so much for the Iinfo
It worked! It should have been designed like that in the first place. Thanks
Thanks for the info,works GREAT!!!
Worked like a charm! Thanks for the advice.
I had a destroyed jack and your video helped decipher which connection does what! The FJ Cruiser Factory Service Manual didn’t show how the sense lead works. Now it makes sense: 14.5kOhm = jack unplugged and sense line kept from floating; 2.62kOhm = jack plugged in. Thank you!
Thanks. Great fix. Glad I stumbled around it. I agree it was a stupid design. Maybe it would have been an ok design if it worked 100% of the time. Cheers.
Hey there Forrest Duston, I have a problem in my 09 Corolla that I just recently found out. I think I have a problem with my AUX and when I try to press the AUX/DISC button it won’t switch to my AUX when I have it plugged in and it goes to disc IF I have a music disk in it but I want it to go to my AUX. Any help or suggestions is helpful
I just tried it. It worked perfectly. I can vouch for this method!
