John Anthony says:

Thanks for the video. Title needs to be edited because in N. America the 10th Gen Corolla is 2009-2013. The 2008 Corolla is part of Gen 9.

j e says:

These are normal wear and tear for all cars… the problems with 2009 Corolla are oil burning from bad piston design and or ring sometimes cold start rattle because too much oil gets drained back into the pan leaving an unlubricated vvt gear other than that it’s a great car just do your oil changes at the 5k mark like the manual says I’m at 178k miles and never had the check engine light on

Mr.G Q says:

One more thing for anybody in a hot state, The trim along the bottom of the door windows breaks apart quickly. Letting water into the door assembly. Very hard to find one of those generation Corolla’s with that trim in good condition in the junkyards in places like FL

R Creative says:

My corolla 12, coil plug problem only till now. Wear and tear parts such break pad, tires,.. are not included. So far so good.

Alvaro Guerrero says:

Greetings, I would like to know where the oem amplifier of the corolla 2010 is located, thank you very much.

sultan shamma says:

For me , I’m driving 2013 corolla . When i turn the AC on , the throttle gets high RPM up to 1500 . Specially when the AC’s fan is working. I don’t know what the problem with that !!

sultan shamma says:

Maybe the EVAP system ( and all about saving fuel and environment ) is more complicated in US than others such as in meddle east

Husky Ng says:

Unbelievable Toyota corolla 2010, runs for 10 years, 240k km and run like brand-new, the only thing I replace was brake that all, and I did change engine oil regular 5km-6km, transmission oil every 60km, BMW and Mercedes can't compare to Toyota honda for sure

Pablo Ignacio Chilla Torres says:

Podría explicarlo en español ahora porfa

Isaac Yeates says:

Great car unless you have the 5 Speed manual, they are not great transmissions, Toyota doesn’t even rebuild them you just have to replace them. Also they use cables and can snap so be careful 🙂 that’s been my experience with my car

Chris Fisher-Switzer78 says:

My 08 just turned 510,000 miles and I had a coil pack go bad recently. I thought my Corolla was finished, but I found out the blinking engine light was a coil pack. Swapped out all four spark plugs and coils for the first time and it’s off and running again. I do need to replace the drivers side wheel bearing as well. That’s for another day though. 🙂

Daniel McClorey says:

I have a 2010 Corolla with 125k on it. Transmission fluid is dark. It shifts fine though and doesn't leak. Should I change fluid? Will it last a lot longer than that? Any
experience with this, Thanks for advice.

Static_VIP_Camry says:

The 09-13 Corolla XRS has the 2AZ-FE 2.4L engine the the problems are different on the XRS models. The most common issue is the valve cover gasket leaking oil onto the block and the oil consumption gets worse overtime as the milage or Kilometers increase. They're really bad on the 07-09 Camry's it was a recall issue due to bad piston rings.

Claudio Nieto says:

I would consider more important the motor and transmission mounts. Every 40,000 kms should be replaced and those are very expensive at the Toyota dealer. I had 2 corollas and always the same situation. That’s the reason I changed to Hyundai.

Wicked Witch says:

I will only drive Toyota’s and Honda’s. When I drove Ford Chevy or dodge I always had issues n always in the shop. I have seen Honda n Toyota get well over 400,000 miles and they still run. Just depends on how you drive the car and the maintenance you do on it

hondagoal says:

Great Video. thx

Sampson5663 SaintBunrd says:

I bought a 2010 Toyota Corolla brand new an I put 223,000 miles on it an never gave me any problems two deer took care of it for me or I would still be driving it. So I bought another one an I really like this one also. Only problem I have with this one is my radio don't work. An that sucks

JP Stone says:

Toyota apparently trying hard to replace
the car-owning experience of a DODGE?

JC says:

never mind the Corolla is that a 67 white GTO in the background?? BTW all these are truly minor problems that occur on any vehicle

Cascades Orion says:

Mine runs smooth and sound but has a pretty bad problem with rattling interior parts. It's driving me insane!

Kyle Hubick says:

Myself, mom and dad all have 12 year old 2009 Corollas. The shocks will leak far before the strut mounts go. I’m also a tech and have never seen a corolla with a loose ball joint. Ever. It’s uncanny. The water pump bearing failure/noise and axles/axle boots are the other problems we’ve run into all around the 250k km mark.

Armen Avakyan says:

I had my alternator die at 60k miles and I feel excessive engine vibration in the car when stop at a red light. I changed the throttle body and the spark plugs, still has this issue. It happens when the car is idling at around 600 rpm. Not sure what the issue is, no codes pop up, Even my mechanic doesn't know what the issue is. The weird part is when I turn on the headlights it goes away.
