I had a buddy with a rav 4, it used to randomly put the brakes on itself and stop, 6 trips to the dealer they gave up trying to figure it out, I think the rav4 was toyotas edsel

Just don't over tighten the spark plugs. I usually have gone until they are snug, and then another 1/4 turn and never had a problem on any of my vehicles. You don't want them too lose and you don't want them too tight (and you definitely don't want to break them off from overtightening). All the car manuals I've seen (even my truck) recommended spark plugs every 90-100k miles even though they were iridium. I used to just drive cars until they would misfire and then change them, but on a newer cars about every 100-150k is about the life of the plugs, no matter which ones you get.
