Scotty, I am looking into a truck so I can tow my camper ( that I live in, due to my cancer I had to stop working and I can't really afford spending 900 a month for a conventional home being that I am on social security and I do have my VA disibialty so my income is limited. I bought a 2004 26" airolite weighing in at about 6000 lbs dry. I have been fixing it up and when I am done I would like to be able to hook it up and travel. So I was woundering what truck you would recommend? I am a ford lover mainly because I have had many other different kinds of vehicles but ford has always been good to me. I currently own a 2003 taurus and it has over 235000 miles on it and the only thing that is wrong is an 02 sensor code that keeps coming back on even though I've replace the O2 sensor. And the oil pan gasket leaks. Other than those two things it still runs great. But to tow my trailor I need a truck. I've looked at Ford and Dodge I am still researching Dodge. As far as Ford goes I've done some research but I've owned ford trucks in the past and I can fix just about anything on a ford unless it is computer related. What would you recommend?

I don't get why people buy a truck if u don't need to tow. Just buy a minivan.
..4-door in a pickup is only a plus if you really need/want it, and don't really need to haul much of anything…me, I want more bed than cab, I'm always hauling things, and the full bed length is a big plus..and, to me, 4-door, and even extended cab, trucks don't look right…look like a van/suv cut off with a little bed tacked on as an afterthought…give me regular cab, long wheelbase…and those tonneau covers?…another sign someone doesn't really haul anything….
I wish Scottys son would have bought a Kia Sorento just to see him pop off.

I bought my parents ‘07 taco… loaded .. they had it dealer maintained… 145,347 miles now— it was 128,xxx when I scooped it up.. 4×4… 4 door, auto.. I miss my first gen 4 runner, but to have passing power is FANTASTIC!!!
