Vlad Hailen says:

Give that man a new frame!

William Crabbe says:

First of all…A great big thank you to all our great vets!…and yes, we need to speak up to hold them accountable!…those evil swine!

MJA says:

Salty. I have a 2015 Tacoma…Toyota extended my frame warranty for 10 years. Apparently that's how long the frame should reasonably last. That pick-up is very nice, but it's nearly 20 years old. You have to think that if they agree to replace the frame on every single rusted out Tundra or Tacoma, no matter the condition, or pay off the owner, it would equal billions of dollars. It would be an untenable business position. Those vehicles have emerged as having weak frames as far as corrosion is concerned, a rare engineering shortfall for that manufacturer. Hopefully anyone looking to buy one has it thoroughly inspected. By the way, I'm not unpatriotic, I'm a USAF retiree myself.

SheerWill Survival says:

Salt on roads for ice is the death of many great vehicles

Rufus Rodriguez says:

when scotty speaks manufacturers listen cause of his 4 million viewer reach

NorthernEXpeditions says:

I had this same issue, fought Toyota for years to get my frame replaced under the recall, after my rear crossmember rusted out I brought my truck in and they replaced get this, just the rear crossmember LOL. I asked "what about the front portion, it's not safe" ,"oh, that's the owners responsibility". Ended up having to swap the frame by myself on my front driveway LOL

Dave Crupel says:

Never,
Ever,
Ever
trust a dealer to do ANYTHING they say, or do any of it right.

E V E R ! ! ! !

H8er Maker says:

Do the right thing Toyota.

Roger Williams says:

If they don't replace this veterans' frame I will never buy another Toyota again and I'll go buy myself one of those Fiat 3500s.

Shane B says:

Anything past 200k miles just move along. People are funny.

AV84USA says:

Not cool at all!

GunsAndPoker says:

The real problem is that it's a vehicle from Ohio.
NEVER buy a used vehicle from Ohio. Ever

I Finn says:

Reminds me of what us vets go through when dealing with the VA.

Atomic Zero says:

Let’s get this vet a new frame.

Alex Tran says:

Lol that truck doesn't need to be "checked out" to know it needs a new frame. A visual inspection from even a video or pictures is enough to know that truck needs a new frame.

tugquarles says:

The truck is in great shape. It’s been taken care of by the owner.

The frame is cheap compared to the publicity.

dakusaab says:

Politcs are in placed to make people believe things are getting done. Be wise I dont beleive it

Jensen William says:

Thank you!!!

Willfilla says:

Never thought I’d witness the day

Kyle says:

I don't know if there's a way to follow the updates to this post but i sure would like to see an update video to Toyota's reply. Not only should our veterans be honored, but this shouldn't happen to anybody.
