I used the budget Creader 2 elite JLR to program a new key for my Disco 3, that alone paid for itself. Great little scan tools.

@JayKay-ht8rg says:

Go for the Foxwell NT530+ instead for Land Rover.

@Kerosenetrewthe says:

So you cant use this scanner to disable the auto start/stop?

@maxsale2927 says:

There are versions of Launch that can do coding that are pretty inexpensive (X431 CRP919E for example) that are popular in the Porsche world. I'd be curious if they can also do coding of LR products similar to the GAP tool with the benefit of not being LR specific for those with multiple cars.

Hey guys! Have you tested this anymore? I just got mine, and I am missing alot of functions on your worksheet. (All the coding options like hight calibration, rain sensor calibrstion and stuff) but it supposed to also be able to enable/disable automatic start/stop too

We've a Launch Tablet jobbie at work, good bit of kit as it has every car on it (we're a garage so makes sense). Pretty intuitive and will do somethings our Snap On scanner doesn't (although the Snap On is easier to use diagnostic wise and more user friendly but I know there are people who says that Snap On scanners are old hat compared with other proper scan tools.) which is handy.
