I have a 2014 tacoma SR5 with 88k miles..Best truck ever haven't had any problems with it. Hate to let it go, but i need a 2500 for work. I will get about 25k here in AZ
some automakers think we'll be all-electric in about a decade
Now if only I could find a TRD 4×4 with around 30k miles for under $40k.

Not for me.
Unfortunately, automakers chose to make cars in Mexico because it is cheaper there than in USA or Canada.
We have some at work 2018-2019 and they already start having issues with transmission not shifting properly and weak AC. They only have around 120k

I love my 2016 Toyota 4Runner, I can pull a 6×14 trailer with it and get 19 mpg highway while towing. Much better gas mileage than my 2006 Toyota Tundra.
In 2020, I bought a used Nissan Frontier with 15K miles and paid $15K. Now the dealer wants it back and will pay $26K. A used Toyota Tacoma was $8K more and bigger.
