In this video, I will go over how to replace inner and outer tie rods on a 91-99 Toyota Paseo. This will also work for 91-99 tercel’s, and ep91 starlets and possibly seras.
You will need the following tools:
12mm wrench
17mm socket/impact socket
19mm impact socket
1/2 impact gun
1/2 torque wrench
Inner tie rod tool w/ 1″ 3/16 crowfoot adapter (rented via Autozone)
tie rod separator (rented via oreillys)
zipties or clamps
inner tie rod torqued to 43ft/lb
tie rod end castle nut torqued to 35ft/lb
