Good tip, thanks.
It’s important to point out that oil (from your fingers, say) can cause devitrification of the quartz and bulb failure. The warning to handle the bulbs with clean cloth or gloves should be respected.
Thanks for the feedback on the video.
Brilliant video.
Not sure what’s going on here because my video covers changing the low beam bulbs. Do your low and high beams work? If so you might have a bulb burned out in your dash display.
i changed thr bulb and now the high beam indicator inside the car doesnt light.blue
Low beam.
is that high or low beam?
Thanks iScraper1, not sure we have ‘O’Reily’ in Canada, but will find it somewhere…
I got my bulbs at O’Reilly Auto Parts.
Great video, now I am up for another research: where to buy the specific kind of the bulb that I pull out from the headlight -:)), will try Wal-Mart first…
Thanks Matt.
Thank you so much for that fantastic video!! Now I know how to open the hood!!
Thanks Nikki for watching.
Excellent video. Was able to change my bulb in less than five minutes. Thanks.
Good information, thanks.
This body style was from 2002-2006, however Toyota refreshed the Camry for 2005 redesigning the headlights/tailights and grill.
So, far the lights have not burned on my 2003 Camry. I’ve only see a handful of Camry’s with burned out headlights or tailights
Thanks Amy. I never thought someone would consider this video HOT. :)
This is a GREAT video! You step by step directions are really HOT
The process is much the same, the article I read said the low beam headlight bulb is located at the center of the assembly and to locate the black/green light bulb base on the rear of the assembly.
Is the replacement procedure the same for the left low beam headlight bulb in a 2007 Toyota Camry LE with a 4 cylinder engine?
Thanks for commenting.
Thanks so much!
Thank you.
Thanks a lot! Really helpful 😀
Thanks for the feedback.
thanks! very helpful
Not sure about the new one draining the power statement, but it is recommended that you change bulbs in pairs. My guess is the new bulb will be brighter than the old one if you leave the old one in.
Now I have a question. I just replaced my left bulb because it was out the right one was fine. It worked. But after I replaced the left one the right one goes out here and there. My friend says that it’s better to replace the bulbs in pairs instead of one because the new bulb is draining the power. Is that true?
