Paresh Patel says:

Japanese engineering was simple but now they have become lousy, I bet this is designed in USA.

This should not be that laborious compared to the cost of bulb and material.

Paresh Patel says:

What the hell toyota. This is simple job takes disassembly of car. What kind of engineering they have?

diegoepd says:

Thanks so much for the video. It helps me to connect the reversw camera to the reverse light by taking out the tail light. Job done thanks to this video.

Jing Qin says:

Great video!

VicVR6 says:

I have to replace this tail light, not looking forward to this. Thanks for the video.

Alan Gaha says:

Thank you – we had to do this tonight on 2010 Rav4. We would have spent hours figuring this out if at all without your video.

Ernie Simsek says:

Thanks for the video. It was simple, clear and concise. Great video and tremendous help

Elroy Atmusphere says:

So many un necessary steps in this video. Can be done in half the time or less. You don’t need to remove that entire side panel – just remove half at the rear side and you have more than enough room to pull the light fasteners. What a waste of time ?

peace love says:

Damn. Why don't they just make it difficult !!!

Al13n1nV8D3R says:

God forbid you ever damage your tail lamps on this car. I just finished doing this very thing because the wifey backed up into a pole. Luckily only the tail lamp was broken. It took me 2 hours just to complete the job. While i was back there decided to replace all tail lights to LEDs. Two birds with one stone i guess. The hardest part was the trim surrounding the rear seat folding release, i ended up breaking one clip. Be gentle around this area folks. But i am glad i did it. Thank you wifey sauce for this project!

Doug Welch says:

This whole video is a crock of crap ! I watched it , thinking it would help me change the brake light bulb in my elderly neighbors 13' Rav 4. I also googled how to do it. The Google version had me take out two bolts ,then use a flat blade screw driver to pop the entire fixture straight back then out.Replaced the bulb and had it back together quick. The whole process took me less than ten minutes ! Why would someone make a video that makes such a small process so complicated !!!

Reynaldo Cardoza says:

Certainly Japanese car manufacturers made so hard to replace tail lights assembly

Dan Dooley says:

Great video. Now how do you replace the passenger side assembly?

Rusty Ralph says:

It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than to change the taillight on this car.

Kong Lee says:

Good lord Toyota, that's alot of stuff you have to take off and not try to break to pieces also…

Helena Van says:

It takes a lot of work to replace a light bulb

Missy Trouble says:

this video does nor work for a 2005 rav4

SANDY BROCKMEYER says:

Good Lord, we have to disassemble the whole back of the car. Taking a pic at each part being disassembled would be wise. I have done a good bit of repairs and replacements myself. I'm frugal and handy.
Hmmm all for a tiny bulb.
I think when I need one, I'll be coming over to see you !!!!!!
