I have been having problems with starting my 2003 Toyota Corolla (188k miles) lately. It seems to be fine one minute and then doesn't even crank the next.I thought it was my battery or alternator, so I went to get my battery and alternator checked and they told me they were both fine. I brought it to a mechanic and of course it started fine for him. He mentioned it could be an intermittent starter issue. I am a poor grad student so I can't afford to get it worked on professionally. I hope replacing the starter works. Thank you for uploading this. I already subscribed!

Just replaced my starter using this video. Very easy to follow. The only change I did was remove the radiator fan. I don't have a flex head so I needed the extra room to fit a regular socket wrench in there. Thanks for the video!

Thanks for this post! Several others on You Tube that are good, however yours was best, allowing very clear tutorial resulting in my effective, non-eventful replacement of starter. (I'm NOT a mechanic btw.) Sole problem I had was old starter stuck to bell housing requiring my tapping by solenoid to unstick it. Again, thanks so much.

Great video. Thanks. It helped me a lot. The starter could also be taken out from the under without removing anything, just push the rubber coolant pipe aside.

Ty great video

Take the electric fan out first. 2 easy to reach bolts ,one ele connector and the half inch overflow hose off radiator. Opens up a lot of real estate.
