How do you replace the auto lock on the door on a 1994 toyota camry v6 and
do you have a video that show me how to do it..

Gil Vincent says:

I bought the replacement motor from 1A Auto for my ’93 Camry VLE. Followed
the video and had no problems getting it in and working. Nicely done.
Only difference was that I had a couple of extra screws holding inside
door panel to door (small tweeter speaker in door handle and one behind the
red courtesy light). Piece of cake, guys! Thanks!

1A Auto Parts says:

You may want to take a look at the window switch to see if there’s power
going to and from the switch. If there’s no power in the up position, the
switch could be bad. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

Hi. I have a 1996 toyota camry le. And im having problems with my front
passenger window. The window will go down but will not go back up any way
to fix this. J have no idea how to fix it

beeroosterm says:

Thank you, thank you, thank you! What a kind thing to make available for
those of us too poor to have it done professionally. Those pins that push
in/pull out would have kicked my butt! I’m certain this will save me an
hour of sweating, swearing, and fiddling about – not to mention at least
$150 in extra parts cost/labor.

EquippedMotorworks says:

does anyone know how close to a gen 4 (97-01) camry?

Daniel Stra says:

Because of this video I ignored all other companies and bought a new
complete window regulator from you. WELL DONE! Regrettably, the problem of
the window tilting forward when going up still exists (Front pass door, 94
Camry.) I have replaced the run channel and the window regulator. I’m out
of ideas and hope that you can help me. Thanks.

Thank you for your order. Have a great day! 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

Is it pretty much the same for a 2dr 95 cam?

1A Auto Parts says:

@byrdSumPK Thank you for visiting our auto repair channel on YouTube.

Jose Valdez says:

Would this replacement video also apply for a 98 altima or would it be
completely different?

Abraham Ghebremeskel says:

Yea you helped a lot brother tnx

1A Auto Parts says:

@djfrighte Yes it should be pretty much the same.

BigAirBoardForum says:

Wow! Great quality video man! Thank you very much!

millican45 says:

@1aauto Just a note, my 92 has the courtesy lamp in the door and there is a
well hidden screw behind it that must be removed before the door panel will
come off. The lamp assembly comes out by pulling and prying around the
edges.

DEOTANUR says:

Hi, I really find all these videos very useful for my Camry. But I want to
know how to replace the window itself. My window got smashed in by some
unpleasant individuals for fun. I want to replace the window for the
passenger side. How do I replace it? My window is not power window. Thanks

djfrighte says:

@1aauto Thanks, I figured it out. For a 2 door there are 3 additional
screws on the underside of the panel and a bolt behind the bulb holder for
the door open light, requiring you to pop out the holder. That one had me
stuck for a while.

hi mike,i got trouble toubleshooting a 1994 toyota the thing is that none
of the windows and power locks are working i check and theres no power
going in n all fuse are good after that i dont know what else to do

Jfore82 says:

i was having the same problem as @basskillaz. i replaced the the regulator
and motor. same problem. that did not resolve the issue. it still will only
go down, not up. could this be a wiring issue?

MrRazorback70 says:

Excellent video. The only thing lacking I think is instructions on what to
do when the window is in the up position and you cant get to the bolts on
the regulator. I just changed one and had to cut the cables from the old
motor to free up the window. It wasnt easy at all and was the hardest part
of the install. Anyway….great job and thanks for the video.

bobbie318 says:

Thanks so much, I’ll try this way. Cheers

sun roof out ?

jonathan says:

thank you so much! autoshop off base wanted $350 for the job, and you
showed me how to do it for $100! saved me $250 bucks for a job that only
took 1 hour, mainly because i had to figure out what i was doing and such,
again, thank you so much!

Son Le says:

Hey, I have a toyota camery lee 94 , 2 door. Will your product works on
this vehicle?

flixmex010 says:

Great video, but my problem is that the window is stuck almost all the way
down and the bolts from the regulator that attaches to the window are
inaccessible. I cannot pull the window up because it will not budget. any
suggestions?

1A Auto Parts says:

@basskillaz Most Likely your window motor is weak. I’d recommend replacing
the window motor and regulator.

fbman03 says:

I drive a ’92 Camry LE that I bought from a family friend recently and it’s
obviously got a lot of miles on it. The driver side window had been working
(went down smoothly but to go up I always had to apply a lot of pressure to
the window switch), but just today stopped working (won’t go down or up at
all). How would I determine whether it may need a new switch, or the full
regulator and motor fix? FYI two of the other windows don’t work but the
back passenger side works fine. Thanks!

1A Auto Parts says:

You could test the power going to and from the switch with a test light.
That will tell you if there’s power on both sides of it.

Avidist says:

I have a 93 toyota camry. The window is stuck down about 1 inch. It was
working off and on but I can’t get it to go up now. It would only work if
you shut the door while holding the button up or down. I just need to get
it back up right now, and will be able to buy a regulator and motor
assembly later. How can I get that to happen?

1A Auto Parts says:

You may wanto to check the gear on the window motor to see if it’s
stripped, or if the window motor is bad.
