I have a Toyota Corolla and the door squeaked every-time I opened or shut
it… Took it to the car dealer and they fixed it for $40.
@camryTRD1 The basics may be the same. What you want to do is,remove the
hardware and trim bezels that help to hold the door panel on. When all of
that has been removed then you can take a putty knife and remove the door
panel from the door. Hope this helps.
You may want to double check the wires to see if they are hooked up
correctly. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
Here’s a quandary for you – 97 corolla, power locks, rear driver side door
locked, and stuck in lock position. I can hear the solenoid in the door, so
I guess it’s fine, just a ceased or misaligned rod toward the back. I
believe the child lock is engaged on that door as well. Problem is, I can’t
figure how to get the door panel off while the door is closed, and I
obviously cannot open the door until I get it unlocked. Any tricks?
Unfortunately we do not have the specifications on the paint that was used
for the handles.
Hey i have a question, i removed my speakers & i tried to install the new
ones but they do not turn on or work ? Any suggestions
If you’re careful with removing them you can reuse the door panel clips. If
you break a couple you can usually get new ones from the dealer. If you use
a door panel removal tool or a putty knife, it will help you not to break
them. Thanks for watching. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393 FREE SHIPPING in the

If it happens again try to put some white lithium grease on the door hinges
(if that’s what’s squeaking). You can find it at your local auto parts
store. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
@twsbbl Some cars are easier than others when this happens. You would need
to remove any screws holding the door panel to the door. Then use your
putty knife or door panel removal tool to remove the door panel pins from
the door. If it’s easier to start from the top, you may want to do that.
Hope this helps you out.
Hey! I had a question, I am trying to install door lock actuators in my
1993 Toyota Corolla. The MAIN question I have though for you is that I
wanted to know if I peel off my door panel, can I use the same clips? Or is
there any way of preventing damage to the panel? What would you suggest for
this DIY I am trying to attempt? Any help is greatly appreciated. By the
way, I love this channel, helps me a LOT! Keep up the great work! 1aauto is

What kind of paint was used for the white part of the door buttons and
parts of the dash?
