Yes, there is cabin filter 2000 model.

Dont have the filter compartment on my 2002 Corolla.. Exactly as what Terry
Walby described… I would like to add my comment after watching Peter Finn
video is that the cold air box on Peter car’s got some opening fitting on
the bottom, wheres mine is one whole piece seal… so I guess not able to
“slot” the filter in to the cold air box as showned on Peter video..

Hi, I cant find the cabin filter on my corolla 2002.. after remove the
glove box, the right side is the Denso fan, and right above is the foam
type pad fixed on it. Am I missing something?
This component does not exist on my 2002 LE either. Damper foam pad is
there but the Denso fan is the only thing on the right side of the car
underneath the dash. Cold air box is located to the left of the fan unit
and further left of that is the floor distribution louvers. I’m thinking
that on some LE models they chose not to install a cabin pollen filter ????

design. i’m glad my 04′ civic just has it behind the glove box and not
under it.
Peter, As it turns out, the early 2002 Corollas that were actually
manufactured in 2001, do not have pollen filters. This was a mid-year
production cut in that only applied to the last 100,000 or so sold in the
USA.
