Toyota has done a really good job at convincing people that everything they make is bulletproof. As someone who worked for Toyota for awhile in my younger years I can tell you that the one thing Toyota did really well was cover-up problems they had. If they had an engine fail at 30,000 miles, they just replaced under warranty with no explanation as to why the engine failed. It happened plenty of times. In fact when I went to General Motors after working for Toyota for a while I expected to be much busier and I actually spent most of my time bored off my ass because the only warranty work I had was batteries with bad cells and random dumb s*** like radios that stopped working. I will say that the Pinnacle year for Toyota will probably be about 2017. Reason being after that they're finally being forced to have to meet the cafe efficiency standards that the American manufacturers had to meet a long long time ago already. So now they're going to have to play by the same rules which means they're going to have to take the same shortcuts to make things work. The outcome of that is the new tundra which happens to have copied the now old Ford design to almost the T. Ford's had to do now for like the last 15 years. If you think that Ford or Toyota want to make a turbocharged V6 pickup truck, you're nuts. That's the only way to make the government happy.
Yeah I’ve seen some blocks with bad or weak casting.
Your thoughtful demeanor serves you well.
Missing a coolant vent
That's a funny looking Highlander
