i just got rid of a 2009 corolla sport [ btw im a senior ex military tech as well ] one of the worst cars ! this unit had 108,000 kms /67,000 miles approx modules showing accurate mileage not hacked , replaced 3 shocks blown out, replaced tie rod ends ,lower ball joints, alignment, warped front rotors and 1 rear drum ,replaced 2 ignition coils,replaced exhaust from cat all the way back rotted ,replaced dead rear o2 sensor ,replaced ac compressor and 2 lines recharged ,power window switches burnt,air bag recalls which still have not been done as of last week due to lack of parts from toyota,replaced tpms sensors in wheels, engine oil loss 3 litres between oil changes no burning or leaking ,fuel economy it had 1.8 4cyl but same econ as an impala v6 but without the nearly 300 hp thank god its gone ill never buy another toyota .

How is the reliability of a manual 2006 Acura TL? I found one for a 5k with about 180k miles and just had the timing belt done.

I don't understand the attraction to this type of vehicle when I need to get the groceries there are seldom any mountains to climb. And when we get a big snowfall I take the day off and wait to get dugout. I'm sure there are people who live where these vehicles are needed but 99% really have no good use for one. TheReaper!
4Runner easily wins this one! Will continue running after all the other ones are traded in for a replacement vehicle…most likely a 4Runner, but wait in line!
If I wanted an off-road only toy I'd get a Jeep. I chose a 4 Runner to live with. I wish the original Hummer was still around…I don't like the interior design of the range rover. They're so uncomfortable.

My 2019 Tacoma Trd OR has been a great truck and i offroad. I upgraded the suspension to a 2.5 lift front and back and even better. Now im going to up grade the control arms and plan on taking the truck to Moab Utah for a little overland trip.
The best suv of all time is the FJ crusier. Toyota needs to bring that back

Only 1 of the vehicles you talked about has a solid front axle… IFS is shite for offroading. Sorry Jeep is still the best for offroad.
