Hey I need help, maybe you’ll have an answer. How come my car starts without a serpentine belt all of a sudden but not when it’s on. The belt isn’t snapped or cut up…I do know that my AC compressor is bad (the clutch won’t engage) and my power steering is trash with constant leaks. I manually spun the water pump pulley, idler or tension pulley, and the power steering pulley (they all rotate with no bad sound to the bearings or anything). My alternator is strong and recently brand new….please help me, I work on my car myself when things happen and have always been successful but i don’t know what’s going on this time around. The car starts when the belt is pulled loose as well (from tensioner being pulled back) but the belt doesn’t cycle/spin. Please reach back to me…I’m supposed to start my job next week and I have only a few weeks to find a place to stay….i really need my car and would appreciate ANY input, I’m genuinely stuck and I need help….
You can install the serpentine belt wrong on this tundra which will cause a squeak especially upon start up so I would look at the drive belt diagram a couple of times to make sure that it’s routed correctly.
Ive wrenched all my life and dont have half her talent theres not a scratch or a spec on those arms no grease tools or issues she just smiled and posed till it flew off her perfect truck in her perfect garage so perfectly. Too bad it wasnt a steering pump or something that needed twerked off there
Do you have to use the diagram that’s under the hood? Or can u just search it up I’m asking because I got a hood from a junkyard and it’s different engine just wondering if I should save the old diagram?
When it squeals intermittent is it the belt
How much should this type of repair cost for parts and labor?
Pretty and smart

I like her tundra better
750 bucks guaranteed
Holy shit she’s is a goddess….
did they fix the tensioner design
on my 94 lexus i had to drop the alternator and pull the timing cover to replace the belt tensioner
I love that she torques everything
She can work on any and all of my belts any day! Hot damn , she is earth, water, fire, and air.
