Carol Wuest has a melting dashboard in her Toyota Sienna minivan, made worse by the recent heatwave at her Cold Spring, KY home. It’s a common problem in Toyota and Lexus models from 2003 to 2011 and was the subject of a 2015 recall.

Please someone help! Were did everyone go that got them replaced I'm in la, Ventura area? I bought my car used and looked up vin to see it had the parts ordered for the sticky dash and even called the dealership that ordered them for my car for previous owner and they lied and said I wasn't original owner and couldn't do anything for me and dicked me around the last owner even ordered them 1 an a half years ago from this dealership that's trying to get out of repairs. My ls470 is a 2007 it lands in line with the extended warranty. Were are the good lexus dealerships. Heard so many story's of the lexus dealerships offering it and being super helpful with it this dealership wants nothing to do with it wtf?
Same issue in my 2007 Camry CE. I’ll never buy another Toyota again.
nevermind it lasting longer than any other brand of vehicle.BIased crap.Just put some carpet trim up there to absorb the heat and you fixed the issue.
Don't waste your money?? Click bait anyone? One one of the most reliable car manufacturer in the market! They gave a 10yr free replacement. What more do you want. Just buy a dash mat for $60 and call it a day.
I recently notice my 2008 Sienna have the same problem,,, I went to China since 2018 to early 2020,,, my van is sitting in my garage nearly 2 years,, no sun light but still sticky,,,,, what should I do??
My 2009 Avalon have crack dashboard all over I’m so disappointed .
I have the same issue in my 2008 Toyota Sienna. Called the dealer and the corporate office. Both said sorry but you missed the warranty deadline. I don't think that I should have to pay the $3k to replace it. Ridiculous. Anybody have any luck getting it replaced out of warranty?

I went to Toyota dealer for 2009 Camry sticky dashboard, they told me to call Customer Service. I spent a long time waiting and they refused to do anything, not a thing. They said they sent me letter, but the letter did not mention anything about dashboard. It is Toyota's fault not mine. Anybody can provide me information to get help???
There are tight fitting plastic dash covers.
They won’t fix they’re issue! So wrong as it causes health issues. My car is melting. They would do it for health safety!
The dealership turned me away as well; 2008 Camry. Do you have any contact information so that I may also try to get my dashboard replaced?
