I HAVE the same engine in lexus hs250h, no single.problem with , only on 10.000km oil is changed 0w20 and filter.

The Camry made between 1988-1996 are the best Camrys built.
I have a 2010 with the 2.5 and it has the same symptoms as the 2.4
Qt required every 750 miles
A Quart, that's about 1 litre right? Using that much in 500 miles is a scrapper
More precisely, it is the engine you need to avoid, it is found in more Toyotas than just the 2007s.
They never got to repair mine. Darn it.

The 2AZFE is one of the best engines to modify if you want to of course.
2007 Scion Tc had the same motor and same oil burning issue .
Mine would use about 1qt every 1,000 miles .
