How to change your Smartkey Key Fob remote Battery for a Toyota Smart Key with Fccid HYQ14FBA. This Key was from a 2013 Toyota Rav4 with Push Button Start but when checking the fccid # it should be the same for the following models and years.
It takes a CR2032 battery. All you need is a small flathead screwdriver.
These instructions are for the key FOB in the above video. Others may be similar to replace

This video was very helpful. Thank you
Same key is used for 2012-2017. The case pops open easily but the PCB was stuck a little on my key and the battery took a bit of force to get it to lift out.
Thanks a lot, very helpful information.Easy to do.
Thanks for the quick and informative video.
A good, simple explanation. Worked for me.
Thank you. Very helpful. Worked perfectly.
thanks for the info.
Seems like the CR2032 battery is the most common battery for key fobs. My Lexus, Kia Optima, and Toyota Corolla both use the exact same battery lol. I just buy bulk from Amazon and I'm set for life.
thank you so much!!!!! Very helpful.
Thank you very much for the information. Changed battery and works great.
This video was very helpul. Thank you
How about something useful like the sequence to program it for your unlocked car.
Thank you! Like the comment below, I have a 2013 Camry Hybrid… same one as your video! Thanks again!
I have a 2012 Camry Hybrid, uses the same fob/battery. Thanks for saving me 95 sheckles!
I have a 2015 Camry and its the same battery…I guess you can add that to your list!! Thanks for the vid 🙂
Thank you! Your video helped us save $95! Owner's Manuals would never print these kinds of information because the car manufacturers want to ensure that their dealers make more money by providing these simple services to customers.
If you did a video on how to program one of these you'd probably get a million views. I've been searching the web for weeks and nobody knows how to replace one.
Thanks for this video. Never know when a person is going to need these instructions that go beyond the Owner's Manual.
