the airflow is down

Sandra J says:

Hi, What about the ‘2005 Corolla? Does it have 2 Air Conditioner Filters? I
went to Jiffy Lube and they showed me 2 Filters. I didn’t want to the high
price.

teejay1618 says:

Thanks!! But I found I was able to remove and replace the cabin air filter
even without removing the glove box. Just swiveled open the glove box and
stuck my hands in there to remove the housing cover. It’s definitely one of
the easier parts of my Corolla to remove and replace.

Dee L says:

This is amazing. They wanted $70 to replace this filter at three different
places. SO glad to see I can handle this myself!

tina cifuentes says:

omg thank you sooooooooo much for this!

filterheads says:

There is only one A/C filter for the 2006 Toyota Corolla.

Andreas Christodoulou says:

Chhavee Arora says:

Thanks for posting this very clear and precise video.

filterheads says:

The 2010 Matrix takes our AQ1102 filter and has a similar installation
procedure. You can find the video on our website on the AQ1102 item page.

filterheads says:

You’re welcome!

Inne rStruggle says:

Question. Does it really make a difference buying the filter from Toyota or
just one from say Walmart or something?

512TheRock says:

Good helpful video

dangerrulz says:

They want me to $75 for this

Andreas Christodoulou says:

Hello I have a toyota corolla 2006 and i would like know please if there
are two ac filter or if there is just one filter

filterheads says:

I’m glad this video was helpful!

filterheads says:

The air flows down into the housing, so our filters show an “air flow”
arrow that points down. Some filters have an arrow that points up (it
usually says “UP” beside it), indicating the way the arrow should be
pointing when the filter is installed.

filterheads says:

You’re welcome!

JH Pereira says:

Thank you, you just saved me $40!

filterheads says:

The old filter that we removed from the vehicle was installed incorrectly.
The air flow indicator arrow on your new filter should be pointing down.

bedhprakash says:

hi, i just bought the 3 pack , how much shipping time does it take?

Martin Boudreault says:

The air flow arrow comes which way? Up or down ? Thanks for answering

Fercho Mendoza says:

Thank you!!!

filterheads says:

It will ship out today from our Virgina warehouse via UPS ground today. It
will take about 4 business days for it to get to you. You should receive it
on Monday.

Paul Johnson says:

Same concept for the 2007 Toyota Matrix. Took me 3 minuets to change the
filter. Longest part of the job was cleaning out my glove box for removal.
Thanks for this video!

filterheads says:

@stskmilo – This video is for a 2006 Toyota Corolla, but your 2004 should
be in the same place and the procedure should be the same. Did your
vehicle have the housing and door but no filter? If so you can add the
filter. Someone may have removed yours and not replaced it.

melvinhuumcp says:

thank you!

Claresa Everlasting says:

Thank you!

GHOST5663 says:

Excellent, thanks

filterheads says:

You’re welcome!

stskmilo says:

Thank you very much for your answer…It doesn’t have the housing and
door…I already bought the filter but havn’t found where it goes! I’m
going crazy here!…do you have an e-mail so I can send you pictures of it?
mine is stskmilo@hot…thanks!

filterheads says:

Your welcome! We haven’t gotten a video for the Matrix yet so thank you for
letting us know it’s the same!

Randy Om says:

Nate Shepard says:

So helpful thanks

prophetoftru7h says:

my a/c is starting to smell funny and you’re the first person I’ve seen to
show me where this filter is, you’re a godsend.

Dan Richards says:

This is similar for nearly all Toyota, Scion and Lexus models.

filterheads says:

That’s great!

Honoracharity18 says:

Short and straight to the point, not to mention very helpful. Thank you:)

filterheads says:

@RandyOm Your welcome!

floeticdeath says:

8 bucks now lol

filterheads says:

You are welcome!

filterheads says:

Most after market filters will do just as good of a job as the original
filter. The only big difference is if you buy a charcoal activated filter
that catches more of the odors that pass into your vehicle.

filterheads says:

@109873421 Thank you for asking. This was one of our first videos and we
didn’t really go over that… The filter that we took out had been
installed incorrectly. Our filters have an arrow indicating the direction
of airflow, which in this case would be facing down. Some other filters
have an arrow indicating the orientation of the filter. These filters will
have an arrow pointing up, with the word “up” beside it.

filterheads says:

Hopefully this video will help you change your own next time!

fist82 says:

you are a god! Is this the same for a 01 corolla?
