refilm them all in one take so i could upload without rendering.i didn’t
wana get greasy again so i threw on the gloves.

Tleffew1 says:

How do you know or what are the symptoms of a bike that has valves that
need to be adjusted or re-shimmed?

Tleffew1 says:

@Tooextrememx Cool. Thanks!

krizfashion says:

thank you for answering my question to a friend. I will see what the arm of
the nettles and move. yesterday trying to move the ball and did not move at
all and the other thing I noticed is that when that ball be fixed valve
opens early and gives a strange sound when accelerating, according to the
YFZ I think it’s the ball .. . I have a yotube video to hear sounds like my
bike and it may be that ball … looks

Tooextrememx says:

@Tleffew1 usually a quad or bike will have a real hard time starting or it
will start back firing alot when running.

Tooextrememx says:

@AjakeC1 i would do a quick check of the valve clearance after about 25-30
hours of riding.they may be still perfect but it is always safe to check
cuz break-in is when you engine can get alot of wear.after the first 25-30
hour check i would check them again at around 60 hour mark just to be
safe.i tend to check mine every 30hours of riding. if you are racing you
want to check then every 3-4 races because racing puts a high strain on
parts.

Dulaya Saennok says:

Oh god…This is one reason why I’m considering Ninja 500r over SV 650. Thx
for explaining.

Connor Mooradian says:

if the cap over the shim doesnt come out with the magnet how do u take it
off?

Tooextrememx says:

@XCRacer93 valves being out of adjustment can cause hard starts.

XCRacer93 says:

I have a 2006 Ltz 400 and lately it’s been getting hard to start when the
motor Is cold but it starts fine when it’s warm. Are out of spec valves the
cause of this?

Connor Mooradian says:

Tooextrememx says:

Manual link now posted in discription

AjakeC1 says:

ok i have a yz250f and its brand new when do you think i should check the
clearances?

Tooextrememx says:

@cmradn213 you may need a strong magnet your magnet may be too weak .also
try rocking the magnet back and forth very slightly it may help.

Damo2582 says:

Hey mate great vid is it the same principle for a 95 tt 350

Woollyhicks85 says:

I have a 05 yfz an I had it rebuilt about 3 years ago with a Athena 470
kit. I put about 2 hours on it an it has been in storage ever since. About
2 weeks ago I got it out an charged the battery an it started but it is
sucking all the oil out of the motor an filling the air box. It was
backfiring like crazy an if you let off the gas it would die. It has a k&n
pro flow intake an hmf slip on. If I go with a stock exhaust an intake can
I run factory size jets? Any info would be great

Tooextrememx says:

@krizfashion i will post a video tomarrow showing how the arm and ball on
the exhaust cam works.
