What caused the leak? What can be done to stop it?
Had so many problems with Suzukis in the last years. Did you ever have problems with rusted and later broken valve springs?
2023 and you already gotta pull the damn powerhead? they sure dont make em like they used to
Not to criticize or knock or anything negative but while you have the power head off, you should probably replace the seal inside the driven gear holder. It takes a little more time but it takes a lot less time than pulling the power head off again. You don't have to take the timing chain off.
It's great to get am idea how much work the shop put into doing the same on my Mercury, twice. Under warranty thankfully. Very clear video, compliments to the camera. And cameraman I guess.
My 250 leaked, and after a shitty mechanic shop supposedly did all this, and it still leaked!! They claimed they re-did the seals again! BS! And they burnt up my water pump and blamed me! IT STILL LEAKED! They never even put the part
Numbers used on the invoice. They burnt up my water pump that had maybe 8 hrs on it.
Never ever have Advanced Marine in Jacksonville Fl. Ever work on your motor!
Should not be leaking after only a few years, that's a Suzuki for you! That never happens with Yamaha ! LOL. Seriously though, really enjoying your videos. Can tell you're getting more comfortable on camera. Keep up the great work.
Nice video Capt. Is it true that over greasing the shaft splines with great gun can cause the shaft seal to leak and give same indications
