@MarvinPhipps says:

actually they go bad because the metal latch is hitting the fuse boxe which arch the fuse you are suppose to cut some of that metal off and get a shorter relay switch

@hittz8331 says:

Thanks Much Chris, My Mechanic fixed my fuse box relay by applying some more thicker wire gauge inside the relay pin hole , as he said temporarily so I went ahead and bought a used fuse box . Although he did replace my fuel pump. Im paranoid. im replacing the fuse box. Thanks much for you video.

@nicholasstuckey4599 says:

How do you check the amperage of the fuel pump. (I have the same issue… pump relay keeps burning up, even after replacing the fuel pump)

@Jay71trey says:

I have a question I recently purchased the a new fuse box but the box doesn’t have two prongs on the bottom of the fuse box will my car still start and run the way is supposed to or did I get the wrong fuse box?

@MrLearnThenApply says:

The 7mm bolts are insanely hard to take out, if anyone can help please do

@rosiertanika3281 says:

How do I check to see if cadillac has shortage

@armandrobinson4409 says:

So I changed the fuel pump and swapped out the burnt relay, car cranks but won’t start still. I have a replacement fuse block but how would I check the amperage being drawn from the fuel pump to reduce risk of burning out the new block before installing?

@jamesbeasley4683 says:

What is the way you start your car with pushing in the lighter when installing a new battery

@richdavis7621 says:

Thankyou! for this video. I just want to add that supposedly there was a recall on this relay problem due to the seat bracket rubbing on the top of this fuse block, and pushing on the relay. When you buy the factory fuse block this relay is about half of the height of the original to prevent this from happening again. You are also suppose to cut off part of the seat bracket to keep that from touching the fuse block. I just replaced the fuse block, the fuel pump, and cut off some of that bracket under the seat with a pair of snips. With the factory fuse block, and a after market fuel pump the cost was about $600.00 in Michigan. The factory fuel pump was an additional $150.00.

@richdavis7621 says:

You can't just change the relay, and the fuel pump? You have to change the whole fuse block.

@elbertjarrett6989 says:

My cad dts will start but you have to keep turning the switch until power comes on and then it will start but door locks goes up and down all power inside goes off turn signal won’t work
