Good job

Appreciate you taking the time to put this together, stripped my forks down for a polish and re-chrome so finding this took a lot of head scratching out of the equation.
My thanks and regards, Zee.

It is the same… It rides great with the new fork oil… I not sure if my oil was so old and broken down that made it ride so differently but it was a totally different feel and ride…for the better

Adam Jarvis says:

Hey,
How does it ride? I changed my fork oil, Suzuki gave me 7W, now it rides terribly. I was thinking i needed to go lighter, but you said you are running 15W. I know the book says “fork oil #15” I wasn’t sure if that was the same as 15W.

If it rides well with 15W maybe i will try that next.

whoogie says:

i normally loosen the pinch bolts first as the top yoke can be crushing the fork cap
