ok so i was wondering if you remember how many washers were behind the big nut i put everything back together on my bike and i was left with one washer and idk where it goes so i put the washer behind the nut and now the clutch doesn’t work properly so idk where the washer goes if you could help me out that would be great thanks

well, not totally dry. I’d have soaked them too. Great videos but think how much you could get done in an hour with a tripod lol. Thanks for sharing and ride safe.

burntskull, the clutch plates came out of that engine and were in excellent condition and threfore reused……hence not dry. If they were new you would have a point but not in this instance 🙂

Why were all the plates dry? Friction plates need to soak in engine oil for at least an hour before installing.
