Funny!
I never see this ceramics things here in Brazil!
This works better what the metal weights?
Cheers!!
This video was awesome, really thankful of you guys posting it, and keeping
in the mistakes so we can learn. Thanks again!
Nice colorful Hungarian inserted towards the end. At least I know where the
challenging part is.
Awesome video guys. Très beau travail! Merci!
Cool video congrats. Are you from QC?
Pretty good hi jinx , but you should edit 50% out of this video. I like
the fact that you kept in the goof ups as a lesson.
“it hgives me an air of je ne sais quoi…”
“More like Je ne veux pas..”
Freaking classic.
Great funny video.
Step 18-nak megnéztem volna a lánc feszességet, és 19-nek húznám meg a
kerékcsavart. De nem kötekedni akarok. Jók vagytok. Főleg a Yedi lovag !
Mert ugye kicsi a világ.
Can you legally re-cap a rear tire or do they even sell them? I understand
not wanting to run re-cap’s on the front, because of 70% of your braking
horsepower.
Hi Guys, Please advise anyone who changed to new tires to take it easy on
the first kilometers. New tires are covered with a kind of grease to
prevent getting to dry. This grease and the ‘lube’ can get very slicky. The
best way to clean the tire right after it´s mounted is to ride on
sand/dirty.
All kidding aside, this video is very helpful. What’s your advice? Four or
five of us are thinking of going in on a tire changer; we don’t do a lot of
work on bikes. Given your experience, is this the changer you’d buy again
and after all is said and done, is it really worth it?
Great video, but let’s not forget, always practice safe changes – wear
latex gloves! Especially when handling a well greased shaft and especially
if you’re going to finger the bearing hole after touching the monkey nuts.
And not to worry friends, farting is inevitable prior to lubing the rim so
lube, lube, lube lest the squealing forces the neighbors to call 911 . . .
or worse. And for goodness sake, make sure the lube is off the rubber
before ridin’er out the door!
Ah sure, ya banged your buddy, tape-a-weights and ya threw his ceramic anal
beads out. Too bad, the anal beads are better for sure!
… your shaft is nicely greased… Greek fisherman… ROFL!
You are great guys :)
No easy way to change tires. I think the worst are the older BMW snowflake
wheels. It doesn’t help but, I usually curse more…. Thanks for
sharing.. I think I need one of those machines…. Keep em Coming…
Hi all. Funny clip about changing the rear wheel on Henrik’s Suzuki
V-Strom. Some profanity and mistakes but we get it done! Cheers.
I was home by noon…I never left. Cheers.
Wow, you are one well equipped Biker, Riley! I would come over to get my
tires changed, if it wasn’t more than 6000 km! Which is less than I thought
though… Keep up the good lube!
Gentleman, think I’ll stick to tube tyres, easier! Would hate to have to
change that on the road. Great video, only needs Curly or Shemp and it
would’ em been a great comedy routine 🙂
Another great video! thanks!!!
Looks like you had fun! If you do forget to put the chain on, you dont have
to pull the axle right out again! Just get the adjuster blocks to move out
enough so you can push the wheel forward enough to get the chain on.
I think nerb1 means that you should pull the block, the one at 23:44, out
just far enough to slide the axle against the adjuster bolt. That way you
don’t need to readjust the chain 😉 And I am very curious on what kind of
nut is used there. I am not so fund on the securing pins eighter. But is
that magic nut secured somehow?
I’ve used a rag in a similar way but usually just kick it forward. Once the
axle is tightened slightly it seems to stay forward with a good boot.
2:42 Greek fisherman – LMAO 🙂
I don’t own a V-strom, and even if I did, I would never change the tire
myself even if you gave me all the equipment for free! I guess I’m not man
enough, and you guys might be a bit man too much (gotta stop playing with
all that lube, it messes with your brainz). THAT SAID – as always, I LOVED
the video and laughed my ass off at all the homo & otherwise witty stuff.
You just forgot to mention if you were home by noon, but that’s ok. GIVE’R!
ill hold ya to that …. lol i got a front that needs changing 🙂 but im
not sure if its worth riding in Montreal to do it lol
did you have snow in montreal yesterday cause here in quebec city there was
like 5-10 cm
I had something similar on my KLR and it never budged and on my F800 there
is no cotter pin.
Joe has his work cut out for him in determining a winner.
Ahh, that makes sense. Might give enough slack.
Awesome, thank you Riley!
Hmmmm, interesting. Thanks for the reply. BTW, nice man cave! Garage space
should never be wasted by parking a car in there.
Should be 27 uses of the word lube or some various variation. and 3
written. one reference to greased and one to butter if that counts haha
0:52, Beauty Henrich comment. Aren’t those the thread wear indicators?
Good idea but then you have to readjust the chain. Pulling the axle is
pretty quick….even for us.
i would feel safer with the castle nut.
He is a funny man. Check out over on our Facebook page we are running a
little contest on this video.
Come on down and we’ll change ’em!
