Wow! I changed 2 today and only removed 1 of the 19 mm bolts( I used 3/4) also removed the 2 starter bolts. that's it other than disconnecting the battery first and taking the wire of after the starter is lose. Not bad at all
Ohh, you don´t have to do all this… * Just let it stand on all wheels. * Take off the carb (Two bolts + snorkel). * Remove the large bolt (19mm near the engine). * Remove the two long bolts holding the starter. * Now, all you have to do is lift the engine a little bit, to take the starter away…
Hey … Did you end up having any problems with the aftermarket starter after some use I don't wanna go through all that and put a starter in that's going to last a week…
