It’s kind of awkward design, the filter being under the dash, with fairly
limited acess…and all the crap falling in the footwell when you have to
change it. I much prefer the outside location on my VW, it allows me to
blow compressed air thru it often enough, and makes the yearly change even
less of a pita. Btw, sure sign the cabin air filter is clogged is the
windows misting more.
That’s what mine looked like too. Should definitely change at least every
couple years.
