I am glad that you didn't try to use the OLD head bolts, I have seen mechanics do that. :O
Was it really necessary to torque gradually the head bolts? I have seen where some manufacturers suggest torquing just the once to the max allowed.

What are the thoughts on using a head gasket sealer?
I am asking because I purchased this gasket and it failed on me prematurely; Low Rage Off Road was great and sent me a replacement gasket! There is a low spot on my block reading -0.003" off (spec is 0.002") on the front corner outer wall and I am just terrified of the gasket failing again.
ну и музыкальное сопровождение у вас полное гавно
Don't you need to put some silicone between the gasket and cylinder head ?
I have a problem: Oil gets in my radiator, but no water in the oil found, also the oil looks normal. What could it be? I've got an 1988 Samurai 1.3 japanese model
That sounds like a very legitimate reason. Good to know. I've never built an engine with more than one cylinder. Thank you for the tip. Your videos are very helpful. I'm working on the trans right now. Will be disassembling the engine in a a few wknds. Thank you for the reply.
Why assembly lube on the headbolts instead of threadlok?
Where can I purchase head bolts and the head itself for a 1.3 G13b(G13BB) engine?
