i second kaman2516 . everything he said is correct . you can go look at a
brand new car and they will have about the same amount of play in the rear
end due to thermal expansion . and most shops around here (alabama) wont
mess with wheel spacers mostly because they have problems of falling off
(had it happen to me once and i will never run wheel spacers again on a
street driven vehicle) . and as far as the leaking proportioning valve
check out lowrangeoffroad.com the have one that should replace yours . if
you have any questions just call them . i have bought from them several
times and they are very helpful.

You know what funny when you said thats a 1200 bucks camera and you taking
a pic with a 50$ cellphone !!

CRXluvr says:

i have the same problem with the humming/vibration around my drive-line at
certain speeds, i think its my u joints tho. can you please let us know
what it is when you figure it out.

peepeevagi says:

Oh and yeah your muffler needs to be tied up with a wire clothes hanger
lol.

C Drought says:

that’s u-joint – for sure.

CRXluvr says:

@BonersModernLife how bout the play with your drive shafts, is that normal?

dexterlexter123 says:

any play noticeable by hand is to much

CRXluvr says:

post a link of this video to zukikrawlersdotcom [technical forum] and any
of your questions will be answered by a large community of
knowledgeable/helpful zuk owners…in record time.

Jake Evan says:

Like a good neighbor, Statefarm is there

BonersModernLife says:

@CRXluvr yea, the mechanic at the 4×4 store said it that’s a normal amount
of play. He really seemed to know his shit too!

GTAmissions says:

@peepeevagi it’s brake fluid leaking, an di know it’s part of the braking
system, i just want to know what that part is called exactly so i can look
it up and order it

Mark F says:

What about your slip yoke at the transmission was that the part that was
loose in the other video. Mine seems to have some play but the u joints
seem fine. Did the collar on your slip yoke have play.

BonersModernLife says:

@CRXluvr it was the u-joints on the short driveshaft that goes from the
tranny to the transfercase. They were seizing up off-and-on. They’ve been
replaced and now it feels like a brand new samurai!

GTAmissions says:

@SkywalkersMudda no, i like this one!!!!!

kaman2516 says:

1. in some places wheel spacers are illegal (they are in Australia anyway)
so the mechanics might not want to deal with them 2.yes there should be a
little play in the diff centre this is for thermal expansion. as you drive
along the diff gets hot and all the internals expand and that play will
reduce. 3.That part looks like a proportion valve to me it allows equal
pressure to be applied to both brakes in the rear and the last one could be
a fault in the diff or clutch

Mark F says:

So that noise was from the center driveshaft ujoints? Mine has developed
the same sound at around 25 in 2nd mostly. Is that some what what you had
going on.

Tim Larock says:

it looks like your muffler could be a little bit loose

peepeevagi says:

You can probably guess what that strange leaking part is by determining the
fluids coming out. If it DOES go to the brakes, that’s common of these
little machines. That strange noise when you’re driving, it sounds like
your rear axle. When was it last greased up real good? Heck, the whole
thing looks like it could use greasing up. As for the mechanics not
touching your wheel spacers, where are you again? Florida? Cali? PLACES
WITH COMPLETELY RETARDED MECHANICS? Just move to Texas already.
