LOL, it still get chilly in winter 🙂

thejediukuk says:

why do you need heated grips on your bike?
job well done

gogosor says:

LOL, all good 🙂

RC62 . says:

Nicely done sir!
Just one question… How did your throttle get sticky? Forget to wash your gloves after playing with the hookers? LOL
Sorry my friend I could not resist. 😀

o2oDakatsuo2o says:

Use engine oit, it works better than super special “cable oiler”. 🙂

gogosor says:

It’s just generic, no brand. If you Google “cable oiler” you will easily find them.

gogosor says:

It was WD40, didn’t have any cable lube. I will have to get some for next time.

WildBill says:

cool vid. I love teck videos. What was the brand name on the special lube tool?

britex3186 says:

Did you use the wd40 as a the lube or just to clean it out? I have found that the wd40 will wear really fast. I use a cable lube that is less prone to wear. The old school way was to remove the cable, hang suspended above a piece of cardboard and used drops of oil from the top of the cable. Thank God for aerosol cans!

gogosor says:

Yep, fortunately I didn’t need to replace the cable, it leads deep into the engine. But it took me about 10 min to get the cable off the throttle.

gogosor says:

ROFL,I lub everything 🙂

Blahdeblah52 says:

Good job Gogo.

You know this video and I can relate big time, right 😉

WheelsNotHeels says:

Mmmm, lubing & tooling…was it good for you, Darling? You’re so good at making it all better!! Yeah!! 😀

gogosor says:

My bad, I was thinking about injecting/forcing the oil down the cable. I use to do the gravity thing with the Ural, it didn’t get rid of the grime build-up, but all the parts were very accessible on that bike 🙂

V0DKA6six says:

actually meant bout holding cable straight and dripping oil down the line:)

gogosor says:

She is a 2002 model, so we are both happy with the results 🙂

gogosor says:

Yep, injection is the way to go.

gogosor says:

They are awesome, only 5 bucks, well worth it.

gogosor says:

It’s totally normal mate, I had to sacrifice my left testical, all good 🙂

bakker46 says:

Good as new 🙂

V0DKA6six says:

nice one,far easier than in days of old, when gravity was a big player;)

RedandWhiteRebel says:

Will have to get me one of those cable oilers , very handy piece of kit.

OoxTruExoO says:

I tried this but managed to amputate my left knee, and I seem to be pregnant, is that supposed to happen?

BennJamesK says:

Ah, that makes sense.. duh haha :D Thanks 🙂

gogosor says:

Totally agree, they should make it all self-expandable or inflatable rigid structure, it’s 2013, we have the technology 🙂

gogosor says:

They are “cable oilers”
Cost me about 5 bucks, very useful bit of kit.

Alan B'Stard M P says:

probably right about Ikea too. I hate assembling stuff ever since I tried to assemble parts for an aluminum shed. Never again

BennJamesK says:

Nice video. What are those little oilier tool clamp things called? I think I need to get one! 🙂

gogosor says:

LOL, I knew that the hookers would come back to haunt me :-)
I’m going to have nightmares about hooker juice now….

furious607 says:

handy to know 😉 Maybe got sticky from all the hookers ? lol good vid as always

gogosor says:

Thanks, I didn’t find any similar videos on how to fix the problem, so I posted this one. Hope it help others.

gogosor says:

It’s just to show that it’s not that difficult to sort out minor problems, hope people find it useful.

Andrew Quinn says:

Cool vid well edited and informative 🙂

gogosor says:

That would be so cool, one day…. 🙂

TheFriskyBiker says:
