GEAUX FRUGAL says:

They might be financing that much bc they are upsidedown ? When you say who would be stupid enough to pay that much for a vehicle? The answer is simple the last guy that bought a new vehicle. They did that with housing remember the collapse of 2008 ? Guess what the 2008 didn't get resolved they kicked the can. And will keep kicking as long as they can. Eventually it's going to snap. Explains the Bank issues today, create a crisis and beg uncle sam to save us or your economy will implode.

Scott Luthy says:

Wow, insane vehicle prices. This is just to much, really.

Hal C. says:

Yep those Mexican people just love to listen to Scotty trash their auto workers.

Mike Clark says:

Here in Canada I paid $82K new for my 2020 f350. The same truck is now $125K. The only difference between them is a bigger screen on the dash

kevmorris3000 says:

Hi Scotty. I have to disagree with you about rental cars. I do not think many people abuse rental cars. I think they simply drive as they normally do. I think its a myth that many drivers beat the hell out of them. Every time I've been a passenger or driver in a rental car, the car was always driven normally. Plus, I've purchased 2 former rental cars and they were perfectly fine cars. Of course, I maintained them as they should be maintained starting the day I purchased them.

generic dude says:

Insane prices! I sure hope I can keep my vehicles running.

johnny says:

Scotty is the best, but stop woth the small cars and a Tacoma has room for kids in back seat..

Chaos Corner says:

Who is paying these prices? That's getting up toward a house (though those have gone up too). I can see it for a business but people buy trucks for their daily driver around here.

ExtremeRecluse says:

I have an engine that I will put in my 4Runner when the original engine blows. What is the correct way to store it?

ExtremeRecluse says:

My 2002 4Runner has 215k. I have spare engine with 110k in case.

ExtremeRecluse says:

I paid $2000 for my 2002 4Runner in 2019. Now they are $5000

NEWield says:

I wouldn't buy a rental / fleet vehicle again. Picked up Penske truck in '08 Really below whole sale. Two year old with less than 36k. Found out that fleet vehicles don't always get recalls done because in the agreement GM left it up to rental company in getting them done, Rather then dealers. Even when parts are supplied. As they purchased at a lower price. I found many were not done and had to fight to get GM to pay for the air bags and labor. I'm sure some people have had good experiences with rentals.

Tommy Bounds says:

Thank you for the video

Ronald Bertin says:

I remember I went to buy a car a fellow had leased it had 30k on it I noted it had an oil change sticker high up on the windshield, it was over 23 k since it's last oil change, it walked away after telling him he voided the warranty already

Ronald Bertin says:

No truck is worth over 70 grand unless it has 5 yr 100000 mile bumper to bumper warranty

Marshall Border says:

They keep those new pickups , I'll just keep my 2013 Chevy Silverado with less than 50,000 . Would love to have a new one – but would have too give them mine .

Eric Gill says:

Cartel has been buying 4x4s to turn them into tanks and mechanicals

Loki 1 says:

GMC what a rip off these days,I remember in 2014 you could get a new Sierra/Silverado for 25,000. What happened to that?

J Dorner says:

Americans like to keep up with the Jones. Otherwise more would buy the base trim.

A Dot In The Shark says:

Hard to believe people are paying those outrageous prices for a vehicle that has little practicality in today's world. Insane.
