434 cc Big Bore Kit Install DRZ400 || Suzuki
In this video I remove the old piston and cylinder from a 2018 Suzuki DRZ400Sm and replace it with a cylinder works 434cc big bore kit. Upon further inspection it has been found that the old piston rings were destroyed by improper installation, so the only solution was to replace everything with new parts. This installation will work on the DRZ400E/ DRZ400S/ DRZ400SM 2000-2021 year. This video can be used as a tutorial, but I strongly recommend you follow the service manual and all the instructions that come with all new parts.

Hope you enjoyed this video. Have a nice day!
Thank You!
How many miles are expected out of this particular bike after the install I have a bike with same mileage thinking about doing this
Can you do A 1 year overall review on the Mt10? I’d love to hear your thoughts on riding that bike for over a year
Why on earth people are trying to soup up a drz is beyond me.you can put big bores, cams carburetor, exhaust, and all kinds of "racing" crap on it and it'll still be a 300 and something pound drz.besides going to a 38 tooth rear sprocket mine is completely stock.i change the oil every thousand miles or so and ride on.14,000 miles and the valves haven't moved.it doesn't tick or clack or knock, has original timing chain etc.although I did cut about 3/4 of an inch off the acct spring right after I got it.if and when it wears out I'll get a new head and piston and rings from Suzuki and ride some more.never opened up the motor for "locktite fixes"or any of the other " must do" crap I've heard about.if it ain't broke don't fix it is my philosophy and so far it's served me well with my drz.i think some people just can't leave well enough alone and those are the ones constantly working on their bike instead of riding.if you want to go fast get anything but a drz.if you want a good all around reliable bike that gets good gas mileage and is easy to handle get a drz.I really don't see any middle ground.Mines a 2016 sm with Avon trail riders by the way.good tires but they weigh a ton and I won't be putting another set of them on there.just my opinion.
El video me parece gusta, pero te doy un (like -10) porque los enlaces son solo de Herramientas en Amazon, y no hay enlaces donde comprar el Big Bore y otras piezas como el Camshaft ….ETC.
what wheels are those? They look stellar.
Can you attach your disassembly/ build sheet? Thanks
Did you end up getting any dyno results? Interested to see what numbers you're pulling. I got 43/44HP with FCR39, 434 cw kit, stg 2 hot cams and yoshi rs2 (with baffle in, Would read a lil higher if I had it tuned with it out im sure).
Im also keen to see what you think of the lectron carb? Could you possibly post a video of its throttle response when blipping and cracking the throttle."
Cheers
Awesome video enjoyed it glad you managed to find the fault sort it out and thanks for filming it for our benefit.
thank you for this. Top end rebuild soon, hopefully that fixes my coolant leak 🙂
I would have liked to see more detail on your install of the piston into the cylinder and then attaching it to the connecting rod. Skipped right over that important part. Overall excellent video though. Thanks buddy
Check crankshaft for wear!
Здарова парни. Подскажите какой фирмы ставили поршень и цилиндр? Спасибо
More like small bore kit
Dayum boiii. Once I saw a DrZ snapping timing chain, the owner planned to buy new cylinder kit like you did. He cried for 2 whole days after he noticed the pricetag
You going to transplant a Lectron carb in place of the OEM?
