@Dohn Joe! Belts are pretty strong and they usually last for their intended
period of time. As you may know in my case, a previous mechanic didn’t get
the tensioner bolt tightened enough and opps there goes everything else.
The best thing an owner can do is change the belt at the recommended
intervals. And say halfway through the interval, they could do an
inspection to see if there are any oil or coolant leaks which if any one of
these substances get on the belt will shorten its life. Thanks Joe for the
