Great 🙂 All of a sudden, I´m looking forward to installing the fuel system now 😉 I worried alot about cutting and install a pump inside of the tank!

Thank you 🙂

Hello, I am just using that pump externally only. That works great and never any issues. The big thing on these pumps is not to run out of gas – that is very hard on the pump. The fuel passes thru the pump body for lubrication & cooling. I have built several systems (years ago) with the pump in the tank but you are right – it’s so much easier to have an external setup!

Great video, like the other videos from your channel 😉

One question about the fuel pump. Do you only use this extern pumpand nothing in the tank? Is it enough with this type pump? if so, it is much easier than installing a fuel pump inside of the tank!

Yes, that does help immensely .Especially since I did not word my question as well as I had intended . Presently , I have 1916cc V.W. turbo motor , but damaged it . I am intending to replace it with the ej25d Subaru engine .This will get me near the power level I was running , but with much better economy, and a little better drive ability . I have several pumps but did not know the requirements of the suby engine. Thanks bunches !

Hello, The pump listing that I used is for a 1986 Ford Ranger 2.9 4/4 port fuel injection. It is the pump on the frame – NOT in the fuel tank. Most system operate at 45~60 psi. These pumps will exceed 100 psi @ a deadhead test. The fuel pressure regulator bleeds excess to the return fuel line & maintain proper running pressure. Hope this helps, Jeff

trpl7man says:

Hi , Thanks for the tips . What fuel pump are you using , or what is the rated pressure ? Thanks .

I know everytime I go outside it gets sun burnt. I just started getting spots of it everywhere its kind of annoying. I was rubbing it on my friend it was pretty funny lol.

Good stuff thanks for sharing your tips

Once you drive one you’ll never go back! Right after the engine was in I drove all over the state on the weekends. Only had a crescent wrench, vice grip & screwdriver along, and no cell phone :)

2jeffs1 says:

There is a name for it but I don’t know what it is. The thing I don’t like is you can’t be out in the sun without sun tan lotion/shirt/hat etc or the white spots get bad sunburn in minutes. Some times you get the look of – I hope that ain’t catching!! I heard one time a guy got the name of it tattooed on his arm.

2jeffs1 says:

I always hope that the vid covers all, Thankx, Jeff
