Quick fix for a 2001 Subaru Outback with a stuck sun-shade.
Now did you get the sunshade open.? I have a 2004 legacy with the same issue.
do you know if its mostly the same for outback 99??

I had to open the moonroof halfway, then use a long screwdriver to lift them up and out of the way.
How were you able to get the sunshade back to get to the fingers in the first place?
