This video Excellent! I am installing a 2.5 but there are a lot of clues
about how to get that stubborn engine back in. I was about to call my
father to help, because my engine won’t slide back on. Anyway, the only
thing I was wondering is how do I know when there is too much pressure and
binding when I use the bolts to draw the bellhousing in?

This is super helpful. But I’m glad I’m not doing this in the snow like you

The trick is to get the pilot shaft to line up withthe bearing in the
flywheel. If you can get both bottom studs on, you can draw the engine
together going back and forth from one side to the other. There will be
some degree of wiggling to get it to go on. the whole works should draw
together evenly. You may have to adjust the angle of the crane, or place a
jack under the trans to get a better angle. It should not bind up at all.
