If I was the VCR b insurance adjuster I would decline the claim because of that steering wheel. I think you are right on why it was wrecked. Always interesting content. Keep it up.
At least after your repairs that car will not be a death trap anymore because ever bolt,sxrew, and nut will be tight and not loose like when it came into your shop.
I have done some shady shit to my car in a pinch. But this. This makes my work look golden. Like this excuse of a "race car" is a burnt turd.
I see shit cars like this racing up and down my street every single day, where I live it's approximately 85% Hispanic, need I say more? NYC just raised the fine for these noisy junks to 1,000 dollars.

Insurance company shouldn't cover that….it was changed from spec and possibly not what the insurance company covered.
You did a common mistake on the toe….it's not a "bad" thing, but you didn't center the terminal when finished to verify the angle. When you unscrew the bolt, the terminal maxes to one side, and then when you tighten it back, it maxes to the other side….that angle difference can be as much as half a degree. Like I said, not a big deal, but it's a little pet peeve of mine.
I agree with you about this should have been totaled, but with the shortage of used cars, the prices are going up and totaling is reaching new highs. Thus more dangerous cars are being put back on the road. Scary thought that they are putting $'s ahead of safety, but that seems to be the new normal. Thanks for another great video and I hope you get your voice back soon.
I really want a WRX, but after seeing this. Saving up and buying new is a better option.
