I see your rear wiper is shot, same as mine. It’s pretty tough to get that
nut undone so I just left it, same as you.

Yeah. Those things are a chronic failure point on older Subarus. I’ve got a
98 Impreza with a failed (and removed) rear wiper motor assembly as well.
@Powdermonkey99 Hahah, you caught me! I don’t like using my fine drinkware
when I’m working around cars where it’s likely to get smash by a flying
socket or fall off an uneven surface. Afterall, that would be alcohol abuse.
I liked it, but I would have liked to see an actual wrench used. Was this
done by magic?
