I'm 6hrs away from them, but I would definitely want to get info on having them rebuilt my 2014 WRX engine.
My forester x has a blown head gasket and I think I’m just gonna swap the engine, I’m thinking about a eg33 but I’m not sure it’ll even fit but the ej257 is defiantly the runner up
Did the forester come with the ej257 from the factory ? Or was it equipped with the ej255?

1000 mile break in is technically subaru's standard break in
honestly its the unequal length headers causing extra heat in that cylinder for over 147k that did it. That's why #4 is almost always the failure point on the ej's whether it be ringlands, valves, headgasket, or anything else…
Andrewtech is one of the best subie places out there. I had the privilege of being a part of the widebody BRZ build and everyday I would stare at that car and was amazed at how well it was Built and what it Turned into. Would love to get my forester built there
