There was actually a recall several years ago from Subaru to replace the headlights. Apparently they did not last long? Cudos to SOA for taking responsibility and the dealerships for installing new (low beam) bulbs. However, this brings up an important point… Are there higher quality bulbs available so we can extend MTBF (meantime between failure)???
Also, there are various high beam brightness bulbs available after market that fit our generation 4 models. Is it O.K. to install a brighter bulb for better visibility? Hence; are there any electrical system constraints?
Are you guys serious?? Did you consider the headlight being attached to a vehicle?
Great work. Thank you for your time
OMG, thank you. I took my outback into a shop, they had it for an hour and a half, then called me and said they hadn't managed to get them replaced.
You want something done right…
Can you show me How to Replace Headlight Bulbs 2017 Subaru Outback limited ?
Bulbs are impossible to get to without removing the Headlamp assy. Who wants to remove the Bumper cover to replace a bulb?!
The true challenge with these 10-13 outbacks is getting to the lamps with the lighting assembly installed.
great video…i knew how to get to the bulb but couldn't figure how to get the metal clips off thanks.
