Followed step by step, everything came out properly and then back in. Wonderful video!!
Thanks for the detailed video and instructions. Took me and my son 10 min to take the door apart and install the window switch. I didn’t even need to remove the door lock cables.
Is this possibly the problem if the driver window doesn't work? Buzzes when button pushed or pulled, and all other buttons on driver door and on all doors do not roll windows up or down… But no noise from them
looking for a video for replace mirror adjustment switch 05-09 subaru outback
I have only a driver's side window switch that broke. All other functions on the panel work. Are you replacing the entire array of the driver's side window switches as one unit?
Thanks to the video I may have gotten this repair done faster than the video and saved myself a lot of money.
I had one issue after installation where the lock activation kept cycling the locks. It stopped happening after cycling the factory alarm system.
Would it be a similar process on a liberty?
Thank you VERY much.
My switches worked and failed worked and failed.
Turns out they didn't fully seat the connector when they replaced the switch set.
Saved me a trip back to the dealer
Thanks for sharing this – really came in handy when I had to replace the switch on my wife's Subie.
I'm confused. You showed how to take it apart and then just put it back together again. Where did you replace the switch?
Very Good Video! This is like having an older brother to watch only you didn't destroy anything.
Thanks for this video, I'm parting out my Subaru, this was a nice reference.
Very well done video. One recommendation,………. cut video length when possible. FF thru screw extractions, etc.
