a quarter of a quart…. oh america- get your metric on guys

2020tesla says:

diff fluid smells like poo.

Emin Muradov says:

metric is so much easier and better

Emin Muradov says:

You can leave your opinion here, say anything you want about the topic of
this video, but you cant judge me when you dont know me, telling me things
like “dumb beginner” learn to communicate with people and trying to leave a
good impression, its always better than a bad one dont you think?

AmeerS00 says:

thumbs up if you watch this video and you have subaru car 😀

andyinnorway says:

I have two subaru’s in two different countries and your videos are for me
the reason youtube was invented, great home made educational videos. I
learn so much and get my jobs right first time. Cheers.

Lala TheCat says:

thumbs down if you watch this video and you are jealous of people who have
subaru car 😀

jablooglius says:

I have an ’04 impreza outback sport MANUAL. Does the front diff share the
same oil as the tranny?

alldayandnight09 says:

Eric what are your recommendations on jack stands and lifting the car on
all 4 wheels? I noticed that most if not all jack stands state not to use
them in more than 1 pair per vehicle.

ipdjbt says:

Instead of draining oil all over the exhaust wrap that section of exhaust
with a little bit of aluminum foil first. Makes clean up a bit easier
afterwards.

csalad says:

Hate the smell of used diff fluid…..

Romulan112 says:

I had two 97 Subaru’s. both came with an engine knock that would be most
prominent during cold weather. Never figured it out and cause of that,
years later, never went back to Subaru when I went new car shopping.

bloodseedrums says:

not as bad as burnt atf

Dominic Davenport says:

Eric should make a video on torque wrenches. Like when they are needed and
when they are just not needed.

billybobjoe198 says:

Would you think someone saying a quarter of a liter would be weird? We know
if someone says a quarter of a quart that it’s a 16th of a gallon, or 1
cup. Liquids in sizes cup, pint, quart, gallon all are very good
measurements for day to day real life use.

hpmower says:

no more FATR ‘s??

dollman0 says:

you can use a really fine polishing compound, keep it well lubricated and
the results can be astonishing. Buy the high-end products for best results.

BMTroubleU says:

you know whats silly? horses can make 15 horse power. imperial measurements
are archaic and out dated, stuff stupidly measured from variable things
(like candle power, feet and stones). unlike metric which measures just
about everything using water at sea level- way more constant

rotor13 says:

Red Line is overrated…. try Amsoil

TheXdmgx7 says:

Worse than poo…first time I smelt it i was seriously looking for some
sh#t around the hot parts of the engine…ewww

Michael Block says:

I like it when I have to poop.

ipdjbt says:

Amsoil is overrated

justinsvidz says:

yes it does

Ajanpreet Batth says:

I drive a 1999 chevy cavalier with 165xxx Kms and its manual. I have a
question when the car is cold and when i let the cluth go in frist gear the
cluth seems that it slips. once the car is warm at its normal temperature
than evrything is fine no slipping in any gear at all. Do you have any idea
what could it be.

boxer3main says:

A subaru is the first I ever mixed lubes…dual range AWD. heavy sinks to
the front, synthetic makes a beeline to its attraction, and oem versions
sits there like oem. A diff is a good place to stay one fluid. Else,
experiment. The only real problems is draining it so dry, the old fluid
leaves the real battle layer. leave some in to get a good mix. going on 26
years origianl tight and quiet…and lightning welded an atsugi clutch. Any
doubts is your own.
