How To Refresh your Old Subaru Engine

Today we are refreshing an old EJ25 out of a 2007 Subaru WRX STI, This engine is getting completely resealed, which means Oil Pan, Every Seal, Every Gasket, Heads are getting re-decked, Oil seals on the valves, lapping the vales literally everything. I see too many neglected Subarus out there in the world so hopefully, this helps you get yours into a running state!

That socks definitely a learning lesson awesome that you’re helping him out….

Brandon Petrilla says:

Hopefully everything gets straightened out with the car, Very bad situation, Hate aftermarket parts everything down to hose clamps, I'd rather pay a few dollars more for OEM then Cheap Chinese products, These engines are not cheap in these cars especially now that EJ's are no longer in production.

Pab says:

How much would a job like this cost, roughly?

julzsep90 says:

Broo that is a crappy situation but you definitely handled it spot on and genuinely I Don't think I've ever heard of someone doing that for pretty much anyone. Keep after it, good will come your way sir.

Pab says:

Why can’t blue coolant cars use green coolant?

David Black says:

I feel for the owner and the only thing that can be taken from this is monitor the basics, especially after a rebuild or service. Parts fail even new ones. It's really awesome that you are helping him out though. I couldn't name more than 2 people that would do that.
